FOUR FOR FRIDAY

Q: What emerging technology excites you most, or... what emerging technology do you think holds the most promise or potential for your life or the lives of those you care about?

Q: The beginning of eternity, the end of space. The beginning of every end, the end of every place. What am I?

Q: Are men really from Mars and women really from Venus, or is this an oversimplified gross generalization?

Q: Hellmannís Mayo or Miracle Whip... and as long as you're at it, Ranch or Blue Cheese?

Comments:

Q1: Technology being used in the health fields, such as stem cell research. Anything to find solutions to incurable ailments has my vote as the most important technology.

Q2: You are being too Stephen Hawking-ish and it's hurting my brain today.

Q3: Definitely not a gross generalization. Men and woman share so many different hormonal traits that is gives answer to the differences between us. Live with the opposite sex and you know it's true.

Q4: I can't stand Mayonaise. Ranch dressing.

1) I agree.. I think the medical field is on the verge of breakthroughs for SEVERAL diseases in the not-so-distant future

2) Ummm.. you are a riddle?

3) "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus"... hmmm sounds like a clever marketing ploy to get people to pay attention to some common sense advice.. oh wait it is. :) At any rate at least people are listening to it instead of giving up.

4) Miracle Whip ALWAYS. I hate blue cheese

Question 1 - In my extremely biased opinion, the biomedical field has the most exciting breakthrough technologies. I have the opportunity to actually attend seminars and see cutting edge research even before it's published and I must say it's very cool to see where everything is headed.

Question 2 - My closet.

Question 3 - Let's just say that if you look at brain sections, the morphology of a male brain is quite different than that of a female brain.

Question 4 - It doesn't matter. I only use mayo on tuna fish and I eat that very rarely. And I prefer Ranch. I'm not eating mold.

Duh..Online interactive sex toys.

I'm a chicken.

I can accept the Mars/Venus theory but it begs the question where do gays, transvestites & the other assorted sexual orientation minorities come from. Transylvania?

Kroger brand whipped salad dressing...twice as good at half the price.
"Whooaaa here cheese comes...I'm a mold eater."(sung to the tune of Hall & Oates "Maneater")

1. Holographic teleconferencing

2. The letter "e"

3. Women and men are definitely wired differently and for the good of the human race providing a nice check and balance.

4. Hold the mayo or MW for me. Gotta go with Italian on part 2.

1. GM's Hy-Wire (http://auto.howstuffworks.com/hy-wire3.htm) technology will be the most immediate new technology to better our collective lives. It will clean up our air, and create a safer driving platform.

2. Ok, I'm pissed that I didn't write before Dave. I, too, knew that the answer was 'e', but I waited too long to write it down.

3. No, men are not really from Mars, nor women from Venus. However, the book makes some fantastic observations about how we differ, because we truly are different. I recommend Mars/Venus for anyone attempting to be in a relationship. I found even the opening pages enlightening.

4. Miracle Whip. Blue cheese, even though I haven't put dressing on a salad in ages.
