FOUR FOR FRIDAY

Q: How did you spend Thanksgiving Day?

Q: Was President Bush's surprise Thanksgiving Day visit to U.S. troops in Baghdad worth the risk?

Q: How many days have you taken off from work this year for vacation / personal days / sick days?

Q: Would you rather be double- or triple-jointed or be able to get anyone to break dance or rap on command?

1. Watching parades with my boys, making a special jello salad and pre-turkey pastries for family. The day did NOT turn out as planned. But I gave thanks just the same.
2. YES!
3. NO DAYS OFF! I am hoping for some.
4. Guess I would like a magic button to make someone else dance on command. When I was younger and in school...the people that could do strange things with their joints was frankly "gross"!

Q1 - Eating.
Q2 - I didn't know he was visiting the troops. I've been studiously ignoring the news lately.
Q3 - I've only been gone from school during the two weeks between spring and summer term.
Q4 - Maybe rap on command, but not breakdance.

1. I spent the day with my folks at their new house, ate the traditional American meal, and watched the Dolphins beat the Cowboys - to the chagrin of the rest of my family!!! - the outcome of the game, that is.
2. It was not worth it. It just showed how scared we are of the surface to air missiles being used by renegades & terrorists. Why not come in announced and make sure we know that we are safe - even our Commander-in-Chief?
3. Too many to count. RHIP - Rank Has Its Privileges.
4. The ability to get others to break dance or rap - having power over others or other events is almost always more satisfying. Plus, I don't think I'd ever get bored of this power.

1. Working. One of my employees bailed on his shift and I ended up working from 9AM-Midnight, with a 2 hour break to eat dinner with my girlfriend, her daughter and her brothers.

2. Yes.

3. 0 sick days. I've been forced to take approximately 5 days off of work. I took 2 days of vacation.

4. I'd like to be able to get people to break dance on command.
