FOUR FOR FRIDAY

Q: What's your favorite binge food?

Q: Which day of the week do you most look forward to?

Q: What's the strangest request a co-worker or boss has ever made of you?

Q: Yesterday was April Fools' Day. What's the best April Fools' joke you've ever perpetrated or had pulled on you or someone you know?

1. Itís a toss up between pizza, peanut M&Ms, and nearly any flavor of Ben & Jerryís ice cream. Theyíre all so equally satisfying when it comes to bingeing, and I like the fact that each has a different consistencyÖ oneís best served hot, oneís best served cold, and oneís best served at room temperature.

2. This oneís another toss up for me. I equally look forward to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Thursday signals that Fridayís just one day away, and itís a great night for television (not that Iím home all that much to enjoy it). Fridayís a mixed blessingÖ I have a standing meeting every Friday morning--from 9:00 a.m. to Noon--at which I present ideas related to my work. If my ideas are held in high enough regard for me to be able to pursue further, it can be a great way to end the week. The mixed blessing part of it makes it exciting, and the fact that it does signal the end of the week balances it all out in the end. SaturdayÖ well, come one, whatís not to like about Saturday? Saturday rocks, and itíll be even better if I'm ever fortunate enough to be with "that special someone" who will undoubtedly make it even better!

3. Not particularly strange, I suppose, but I did have a boss ask me to leave the office, go out to her house, and find her jacket and bring it back to the office for her. Mind you, she lived three miles from the office, and she knew that I was a 100% bicycle commuter. Being a lowly intern, I obliged, and a month later I was hired on as a full-time employee. Coincidence? I think not!

4. Sadly, I cannot seem to recall one April Foolsí prank that Iíve been a part of, ever. How boring! Oh well, thereís always next year.

1. I like to eat snacks, but I don't binge on anything. (If what you mean by binge is eating large quantities of the stuff.) People tell me they can easily eat an entire box of whatever-is-their-favorite-junk-food and I turn green just thinking about it.

2. It depends. Whichever day I can dare sleep in.

3. Haven't gotten any strange requests (yet).

4. I haven't done any April Fools' jokes--probably because I always forget about it.

1. Pizza or a Calzone.. and I mean, extra cheese, extra mushrooms, extra sausage!! Yummy!!

2. Thursday. It's oh so close to the weekend. Plus, it's my night off from working out, so I can lounge on the sofa, and get caught up on life!

3. You.. me.. and a bottle of tequilla!! LOL

4. I had most of the office here, many friends, my sister, and even my mom convinced that my cat had four kittens. I told them "Gee.. I just thought Bogie put on some winter weight. I woke up.. and Wow.. there were four cute kittens." Almost everyone asked... Isn't Bogie a Boy? Yes, Bogie is a boy, and yes he's been "fixed".

1) Ice Cream
2) Friday always
3) My boss told me to make up fake hours once... then he rejected them. Not fake enough I guess.
4) In high school I had my Dad convinced I was in Jail.

1. Favorite binge food? I don't really binge, but I love Ultimate Cheddar Cheese Curls (crunchy). I could eat the entire bag!

2. Friday, 5:30 pm. I love Friday nights.

3. Hmmm...can't really think of any strange requests. Maybe taking out the garbage or doing some cleaning chore that has nothing to do with my actual job. I'm not the housekeeper.

4. I'm sure someone pulled some kind of prank at some point, but I guess it wasn't that crazy if I can't remember it.

1. Ice Cream. Like Coldstone cherry cheesecake in a waffle cone, or Ben & Jerry's Coconut Almond Fudge, or Haagan Daaz/Dreamery almost any flavor!

2.I love Fridays...especially Friday payday's!!! Friday's always seem to go by quick since I'm so busy wrapping up my week.

3.I am in real estate and a huge corp. client has asked me to bury a St. Joseph in the yard of a house they cannot sell as well as place a folded dollar bill in the NW corner of the home to bring good luck and a buyer. When I replied sarcastically to them if they wanted me to place garlic on the front door and salt in all entrances, they said that would be great. When I was a vet. tech I had to search carefully through a St. Bernards crap for a day in search of a ring that it swallowed. (Didn't find the ring) I also had a client who would bring her cat in for us to groom and paint it's nails. Then when I was a make up artist for this particular line, I had a man approach and hire me to help him look like a woman! Yep...weirdness is attracted to me.

4. My boss had a box on my desk when I arrived (which was late to work). He just sat there quiet. I started packing my desk. He finally came in laughing.....sick joke if you ask me.

1. Crackers and sharp cheddar cheese.

2. They're all the same to me. I really don't care.

3. I'm still under an NDA from Unified Communications. Until said NDA expires, I cannot divulge that information. ;->

4. I never really got into April Fool's day. And, I think those around me have taken note of that and left me alone.

1 - Reese's Peanut Butter Cups...the little Halloween-sized ones....lots of them....lots and lots of them.

2 - Thursday night, Friday afternoon, Saturday morning...and any day when I finish writing anything.

3 - One wanted to cry on my shoulder (I am not a shrink). I told him to go home to his wife, and he said "But I neeeeeeeed you...." (Yes, he whined.) Another wanted me to give him a back rub and sit on his lap. (I am not a stripper.) These guys both had PhDs, which I think does something to a person's sense of what is and is not appropriate. That, or the degree attracts a high level of creeps.

4 - When my brother got out of the army, we told my parents that he wasn't coming home until the 2nd. Then, I went to pick him up from the airport on the 1st and brought him home a day earlier than they expected. It was all very "Hallmark"-commercial.
