FOUR FOR FRIDAY
Q1: Yesterday was Thanksgiving. Would you say you over did it or kept it in check when it came to stuffing yourself with food?
Q2: Earlier this week, Columbia Tri-Star Pictures released the first three seasons of Seinfeld on DVD. Have you ever purchased a season's worth of a particular television show on DVD for yourself? If not, which television show would you most likely buy if it were released on DVD?
Q3: If you could wake up tomorrow morning speaking any one language fluently--in addition to English--which language would you choose and why?
Q4: Do you feel there are any circumstances under which it's okay for a professional athlete to enter the stands, other than to celebrate a victory with loved ones or fans?

1. Yes, I kept in check.
2. I've never purchased TV shows on DVD. But if I did, it'll have to be something sci-fi (i.e. something I'd watch more than once). Like the original Star Trek series
3. French. Because even though I'm all right with reading it, I'm horrible at saying it.
4. No.
Yes, I over did it a little. I drove up to my brotherís and sister-in-lawís condo in Maine and we had New England clam chowder, steamers and lobster. Ah...you say thatís not a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, well go back and read your history. Among the turkey, venison and other foods, they also had lobsters and clams. So there!
No I would never purchase any TV shows on DVD, you donít have to wait to long to see the reruns on some cable channel or other.
I would like to wake-up tomorrow and speak Italian, which is where my family is from. It is something I always wished my grandparents passed along to my father.
Nope. The police should do their job and kick out and/or arrest anyone who causes any violence.
1. I over did it a little.
2. I have not purchased a whole season of TV shows but am tempted to get Seinfeld. I would also consider a TV drama like ER or Alias.
3. Spanish. The Hispanic population in Indiana and elsewhere in this country is growing rapidly. Speaking Spanish would be very beneficial.
4. NO!!!
I'm too consumed with rage to answer. My boss called the whole dept in for work on Fri, Sat, and Sunday. I HATE MY JOB.
Q1: no overdoing of anything over here, except for napping. we didn't go anywhere for Thanksgiving this year, just stayed home, which was nice. neither of us absolutely have to have turkey for Thanksgiving, so Brian made steak fajitas that we ate in moderation.
Q2: i've never purchased a boxed set of DVDs that feature a single season of a TV program. the thought has crossed my mind, and if i do decide to get any, i'd consider getting the DVDs for these shows:
CSI: Crime Scene Investigators
E.R.
NYPD Blue
Law & Order
Law & Order: SVU
Q3: Spanish. a lot of jobs in Chicago right now prefer bilingual applicants in English/Spanish.
Q4: no. i can't think of any reason for a pro athlete to enter the stands.
I'm up. Hope you had a happy holiday. I forgot to c & p them though.
1. I didn't over eat. Had a nice meal and some dessert. It was a nice day.
2. I don't really have a favorite TV show that I'd want to have on DVD, except for Sex and the City...I never got to see all the episodes after the first three seasons. Also, the British sitcom "Coupling" is such a funny show; I might like to get that one day.
3. I'd love to learn Spanish. A lot of people in this country speak it, and I'd like to be able to communicate with others in their first language. There are also a lot of countries you can visit where they speak Spanish. I'd also like to learn to speak Italian fluently.
4. I don't think it is okay for professional athletes to enter the stands. Their job is on the court or playing field. Fans come to see them play, not get attacked or watch a fight on the floor/field. They get paid enough, there's no need for them to go nuts on the fans.
1. Kept it in check
2. Yep - Sopranos
3. °Por supuesto, EspaŇol! Aunque, estoy siendo cerca de esta meta. For all those out there who responded they would like to learn another language - Why aren't you? Is tomorrow going to be a better opportunity than today? Go for it! Do you want to be wishing for the same thing in ten years? °SŰlo hazlo! Just do it!
4. Yep - the fans need to realize what they do can be returned to them. In other words, if they attack players by throwing projectiles at them, the player has the right - although they may be punished by law as well for so doing - to retaliate.
1. No thanksgiving in India, so was a normal weekend. A bit sad though, because I came back from vacation and spent the weekend thinking that come Monday, I would have to go back to work...:(
2. Haven't bought any yet, but if I did it would be one of the following:
a. The Practice
b. The Shield
c. Six Feet Under
d. Nip/Tuck
3. French. Two reasons. I lost out on a fabulous job opportunity once because I did not know the language; and because it is such a beautiful, melifluous, language.
4. Maybe to sign autographs for kids or something like that...
