TOO MUCH GOING ON, FEELING OVERWHELMED!

I don't think I'll be blogging much this week. I have a lot of things I need to do for work, and I'm attempting to adjust my sleep pattern by going to bed earlier on weeknights. All-in-all, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed already this week, so I think blogging will take a bit of a back seat for the next few days.

There is one thing I might post about before Friday. An author I signed to a contract--to write a book for me while I worked for another publishing house--recently appeared on The Daily Show. I was curious as to how the whole thing came about, so I sent him an e-mail message, to which he responded with some interesting info about the process. I might post his reply tomorrow... we'll see.

Oooh, I want to hear about how he got to appear on the Daily Show. John Stewart rocks!

Stumbled on your site after googling "Urban Element" to get some information on it. I recently moved here from Chicago Good to see a reasonable, non-conservative (?) individual in Indy!

Thanks for dropping by, and welcome to Indianapolis... the most overlooked city of its size in the USA.

While I prefer not to use labels, that fact in-and-of itself probably points more to my non-conservative approach than most anything else. So yes, you have indeed stumbled upon a non-conservative Indy blogger :-)

Urban Element, which is directly across the street from my house, is an awesome spot for wi-fi access, burgers, and chocolate banana cake a la mode!
