I debated whether I should post this or not. Some might think it is too personal and others that it is too in your face. But, I think that you post these questions just for those reasons and that you want a wide cross section of answers, so you left as the saying goes, ìThe barn door wide open.î...........
Q1: Who? Diana L.
Q2: What? I am a Trans___ual (unfortunately, the program censored me from using a certain word).
Q3: When? All my life, some of my earliest memories deal with the fact that I knew I was different; it just took fifty-one years to admit it to myself.
Q4: Where? Just about everywhere, except some of my family (my brother, sister-in-law, and nephews and niece know, but my cousins do not know) and work (I have only three or fours years before I retire).
Q5: Why? Oh, thatís the $64,000 question, if only we knew. The current medical thinking is that it is a hormone imbalance during pregnancy or that it is genetic (it does seem to show a very small correlation that it may run in families). I think in my case it maybe a hormone imbalance, because I know that between the time my brother was born and me, my mother has several miscarriages. The preferred treatment at that time was to give the mother DES which is a form of estrogen (what do you think that it would do for a male fetus?). And, for a female fetus it is even worst, all types of cancers that affect the reproductive systems. When I talked to my mother about it one time (she never knew that I was trans.) she said that they gave her some type of medication but she didnít know what it was.

Q5: Why? B/c I moved out here to work for the host of this blog, then moved on to a start up, and have now moved on to yet another job. I like the mountains, I have tons of friends out here...yeah, that's about it.

(2) "The First 48" on A&E, which I usually mistakenly call "48 Hours".
(3) On the couches around our too-small TV.
(4) Thursdays at 9 EST.
(5a) Because I need more than one "Cops" fix per week.
(5b) Court TV broadcasts "Cops" when I'm putting the kids to bed, so I miss it.
(5c) It lacks the over-the-top narration of "Cold Case Files"
(5d) Because I'm an A&E junkie.
(5e) I'm SO sorry.
Q1 - Cindra
Q2 - Woman, mother, grandmother, wife, frustrated artist, BGS, friend, daughter, sister.
Q3 - I am going to interpret this as favorite time of day .... morning when I can just chill and wake up at my own pace and do things at my own pace... I guess that means summer.
Q4 - Near water... could be lake, ocean, river... I just like water.
Q5 - Because?

So...I gotta know Mikal, where's your commentary on the Supreme Court's ruling on eminent domain? I know that this is a hot button issue for you, but still nothing...come on now. Even I posted something.

Q5: Why? Because the whole world falls to pieces around me and I am out here in the nowhere land of Northern California with nothing familiar so I spend my time here doing things like this.

When? Has to be early since I wake up pretty early on my own.
Where? In a big comfy bed.
