FOUR FOR FRIDAY - THE LATE EDITION
Q1 - Specialty License Plates: Fourteen states have now approved or are already issuing state-approved anti-abortion license plates for cars. Supporters of the "Choose Life" plate encourage its use because proceeds facilitate and encourage adoption as a positive choice for women with unplanned pregnancies, while critics contend that the plates promote specific religious beliefs and that state governments should not be sanctioning political messages on license plates. What do you think?
Q2 - Death: Do you believe in reincarnation, and if so, do you think you had a past life?
Q3 - Work: How many hours do you typically work in a week, and what's the most you've ever worked over one seven day period?
Q4 - Lock: Do you lock your own bedroom door at night before you go to sleep?

1) That's fine as long as they don't mind my "Death Rules" plate.
2) No, not really. And why is it nearly everyone who does thinks they were on the Titanic, or were Cleopatra?
3) 35 now. When I was doing some professional theatre, I was working 60 to 80 hours a week.
4) No, but no one gets past the barb wire and the gators.
1. I don't think it's something that needs to be advertised on a license plate.
2. No, I don't believe in reincarnation.
3. I never work more than 40 hours.
4. Not unless I'm staying in a hotel (of course).
1) My wife and I both have pers. plates. I think in FLA we have 67 options. I have "Golf Capital of the World" and she has "Save the Coral Reefs". Its all about choices man!!!!
2)No...once you are dead, you are done !!!!
3) As a teacher, my check stub says 37.5 hrs a week but I work more like 60 hrs a week.
4)No locks
I posted my answers http://dianacorner.blogspot.com/
1. It's not a great compromise, but if they allow those, they should allow a "Planned Parenthood"| plate as well.
2. I dunno. I'm currently exploring religions. Shirley McClain notwithstanding, some of the arguments are pretty convincing.
3. Typically? 43/44. The most? I'd guess 60-65 hours when I was saving for that vacation in Belize.
4. Door's open. Windows are open to catch E/W breeze. Truth be told, I've yet to turn on my air this year.
1. Anti-abortion license plates: It doesn't bother me horribly, but it's not my favorite thing either. I'm really WASPy and we don't talk about these things let alone consider advertising our views on our plates.
2. Reincarnation: Did I mention I'm really WASPy?
3. Work-week hours: I typically work between 15 and 20 hours in a week and probably the most I've worked in a week is 50 hours.
4. Bedroom door: I don't even think there is a lock on my bedroom door...I wouldn't think of using it if there were one, though. Did anyone say yes?? That seems weird to me but then again I don't have children.
