Book Week on The BeliBlog
I was thinking today about what I'd like to blog about this week, when all of the sudden a common theme appeared. All this week I plan on blogging about books...books I worked on as an acquisitions editor; my own directory/book, which was just published by Pearson/Que Publishing; a book my ghost blogging was featured in; a former colleague's new book; and finally, a book I just started reading.
If you don't like books or reading about books, this week's posts will likely bore you to death. And if you do like books, well, this week's posts could bore you to death, also.

I love books! Yay for reading. I am currently reading: The Handmaid's Tale, by Margaret Atwood.
Yay for books. I have a pile waiting to be read as I savor them one by one. By the way, your Internet Yellow Pages came. It's great! What a lot of work. I'm going to give one as a Christmas gift to my cousin who can't get enough of the Internet. She'll love it.
Bring on the book blogging.

Good for books. I just finished reading Aidan Shaw's memoir about life in the gay adult film (the Beliblog censor wouldn't accept the p-o-r-n word!) industry before & after HIV/AIDS and the concomitant drugs, sex, parties, and relationship issues. A good, quick read. Next up is Larry King's book of interviews. Lee McD
As a self-professed bibliophile, I can't wait! I just finished Anna Quindlen's new one, Rise and Shine, which was excellent. Much better than her last one. I'm so glad she's back to doing columns, too. Our local paper only carries her like every other week or something, but it's better than nothing!
