HAIR-RAZING FUN
When I call my Mom on a Thursday or Friday afternoon, she always asks me the same thing: "So what sort of exciting plans do you have for the weekend?"
My response...well, if you know me, you know it's almost universally the same: "Nothing too exciting. I'll probably come into the office and do some work, run errands, clean my apartment, and then do some laundry. You know, the usual.. To which she always sarcastically replies, "How exciting!"
This past Friday was no different--same question, same answer--except that this time rather than dropping the "How exciting!" line, she reminded me that I need to get out more often and have some fun. Using her words as inspiration, here's one of the things I did for fun on Saturday (after spending the morning at the office):

Granted, the lady who cut my hair had a lot more fun than I did, but I really enjoyed seeing her laugh and get all creative on my head. (As a side note, the lady who cut my hair has been cutting hair professionally for five years, and yesterday was the first time anyone had ever asked her to take it all off [well, you know what I mean]).
Here's the final result, which makes me smile each time I see my reflection:

I LIKE it! It's been awhile since I've gone bald myself. Hmm... nah.
Welcome to the land of REAL men. You're life will improve dramatically now. My hair started falling out at 15, but I didn't really 'come clean' till a couple years ago. It's the best. I got one tip - Mach III man! I also recommend the site www.baldguyz.com/
Have fun!
I think version 1 should have stayed around for a few days!
Damn son! I dig the cue ball look. FYI, Jessica has a friend in MD that digs guys with the cue ball and tends to gravitate towards them. Look out for the upcoming onslaught of beautiful women coming up to you, asking you out, and throwing their phone numbers at you;)
Bold. Nice. Though I agree with Greg version 1 should have stuck around for a couple of days, just for fun.
Yeah, version 1 should have hung out for a while. This proves my theory that you are a Super Hero on the off days of work, oh wait, you are never off of work. Oh well. Now you need to paint your head like a M&M. (one of your new flavors)
Good times. Is the buzzed head your new style for life?
Uh...wow! Very, interestimg, but it looks kinda cool. Just don't forget the sunblock or a hat if you go out in the sun :o) Definitely a bold move.
I like it, shaolin monk style. You should have kept the little crescent hair patches bordering your ears and braided them (jewish rabbi/punk ?).
Once you go bald you'll never go back! Hmmm.... doesn't quite have the same ring to it. How 'bout, "Once you go cue, it'll be your only doo." Yeah, still not much better. I give up, but you get the idea. It's the best!
You are such a publicity whore! And following the likes of Britney Spears. Gosh. What's next? Jumping on the Colts' bandwagon?? Ha. Ha. I shaved my head for a large part of my time in prison. Lee McD
WoW!
Does your mom read this blog???
Mikal, looks good! I do have to admit it took me by surprise. But I like it! :) You are gonna have to fight off the ladies, though! Gonna have to get out of the office more often with this new do!
Ouch! I like the new look, but I'm a big fan of hair... the more the better... in the right places, of course.
Hey brother...WELCOME TO THE DARK SIDE !!!
Great to talk to you yesterday...If we put our heads together, we could make an "ass" out of ourselves.
Hello my friend. I heard that you were sporting a new look these days. :) I had to check it out myself. By the way, did you know that you might now qualify for a free bumper sticker from Bald R Us.com? They claim to be the website for "Men of Perfection." Sounds like you.
