FOUR FOR FRIDAY

Q1 - Fall: While the Autumnal Equinox is still over a full month away (Sunday, September 23, 2007), what are you most looking forward to about the change in seasons... cooler temperatures, college and pro football, only three months till Christmas, an impending trip, something else, or do you just not care for fall?

Q2 - Bringing it Home: What are some of the very first things you do when you arrive home after work? If you live with someone--roommates, spouse, children, parents, etc.--is there something you'd do different if you lived alone?

Q3 - Ouch!: Physically speaking, what is something you wish you could still do but cannot?

Q4 - Your Bestest Friend: What is your best friend's best quality?

Comments:

1. The change of colors

2. Take Bailey for a walk. Do not pass go, do not collect $200, Do not even change clothes.

3. Do the splits. I could never do that even when I was a gymnast

4. Honesty

1. Hurray for FOOTBALL!!!

2. Get the mail and eat, which is pretty much the same things I did when I lived alone.

3. Eat as much as I want and not gain any weight, ($^&(&%*#& metabloism.

4. Curiosity/Love of learning.

1. The cool, crisp weather and colorful leaves; Halloween! (But summer is my favorite time of year).

2. I usually change out of my work clothes and into something more comfortable, have a snack, go Online. If I lived alone, I'd probably get to watch more TV - not that I need to really - or I'd cook more, do something creative in my own space without a lot of others looking over my shoulder and commenting about every move I make.

3. Not much. I'm still in good shape to do most things, as far as I can tell.

4. Generosity, kindness, good heart. There are many other qualities I could name. :o)

1. Weather, weather, football and weather. Fall is by far the best season of the year.

2. First thing...I take off my pants. There is just something about chillin' in your underpants. My room mates thinks its weird, but whatever. I also turn on some kind of music, mainly MC Lars.

3. I wish I had the desire and ability to run multiple miles at once and enjoy it. I would pay monies to have a ton of energy all the time.

4. A good listening ear, good advice, positive attitude, and just great company. Wallynack, I love you man!

1 Fall: College Football! Especially the Oklahoma Sooners. I go to every home game and love every minute of it.

2 Home: Get the mail and watch That 70's Show. (Love that show). If I lived alone, I probably wouldn't go home right after work. I would go somewhere and do something. Not sure what.

3 Ouch!: Do the things I love LONGER. For example, I can only stay up on a waterski for about 10 minutes, and afterwards have to wait until the next day to do it again. So, a trip to the lake is over in 10 minutes. Not cool!

4 Friend: Forgiveness

q1: byu football, my birthday, cooler temperatures
q2: unload my pockets (I hate loaded pockets), give my wife and baby boy a hug and kiss. If I lived alone...probably turn on the tv and start looking for easy food in the fridge.
q3: n/a
q4: selflessness

Fall: FOOTBALL!! FOOTBALL!! FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially College football!!! I'm so freakin' excited!!! It's the best time of year!! FOOTBALL BABY!!!

Bringing it Home: Right now, I usually spend as much time with my wife and son as possible before my sons bed time. If I were single, I would probably go hang out with some friends, watch old ESPN classics on TV, etc.

Ouch: Ya know, I'm with Jake...I used to love to run. I used to be able to run over 5 miles without stopping. Now I climb the stairs to get to the office and want to die. :-)

Your Bestest Friend: An outgoing personality is the best quality. It's fun to hang out with friends that aren't too worried about what other people think. Just do what makes you happy.

1. Fall: I like the cooler weather.

2. Bringing it Home: I kiss my wife, hug my kids, and either a)work on the computer, b)watch TV, or c)play with the kids.

If I lived alone, probably go to the BK and buy me some dinner, then look at clothing-free girls on the Internet. Er... I mean, do "research" on the Internet, yeah yeah, that's it!

3. Ouch!: Oh boy. Well, I lost the use of my right arm when I was 21, so here goes

- motorcycling
- martial arts
- military service (Marine Corps infantry... HOORAH!)
- fire a rifle (I was my platoon's top marksman in boot camp)
- basketball
- drive a manual transmission (I HATE automatics!)
- 70 push ups in one minute
- fly an airplane (never did this, but had plans to get a pilot's license)
- sleep in any position I dang well feel like
- give my wife a proper hug

That's just to start, but now I'm starting to sound like a whino, so I'll stop.

4. Your Bestest Friend: Hmm... I guess his commitment to being a good friend.

Q1: I have been telling my wife for months now that I am really missing football season, so that's what I am looking forward to the most. The fact that it has been so blasted hot makes me want cooler weather too.
Q2: First thing I do is chase my son around until I can catch him and then I usually tickle him into submission. Then I do the same to my wife, followed by the rottweiler. Ok, I lied, I have no dog, but if I was single I would. And a motorcycle. Some dreams die hard.
Q3: I wish I could dunk. I never could, but I still wish I could.
Q4: Loyalty.

1) College Football baby. My month-long birthday celebration. The fact that I can wear dark clothing which hides the dirt far longer.

2) The minute I get home I I have to let the cat out. Though she usually takes care of that by bolting outside as soon as she sees daylight.

3) Skateboard. I probably still could do it, but I have no tolerance for the inevitable spills one is going to take. Heck I wail if I so much as get a hang nail. Plus sprains and bruises are off my to-do list forever now.

4) Bestest quality is loyalty, and always "having your back" no matter what. That's the best.

Q1: I love the fall colors. Love.

Q2: I kiss my hunny and hugs the kids and then probably feed my internet addiction by getting online :).

Q3: I'm in better shape than I was when I was younger, I'd love to sleep in as long as I want though.

Q4: Listening without judging me.

For me things just change for the better in the fall. Dunno what it is by I like it.

Play with my daughter and send my wife off to work.

Multiple backflips, they always impress at parties and when you are sparring at a Karate match.

He is never depressed, like zoloft is perpetually coursing through his veins.
