Q1- I have not painted the walls in my house. They are a pretty basic cream color.
Q2- My favorite room is my bedroom! Because it's simple and is usually clean.
Q3- I would take it!
Q4- In January for about a week. I enjoyed entertaining the visitor I had, but in general it isn't my favorite thing to do.
1. Neither - I didn't particularly like them, but I guess i didn't hate them enough to repaint...
2. Living room - The 160" HD projector screen.
3. Eh...it would be nice sometimes, but I enjoy coming into work and being part of my company's culture.
4. Its been a year or so and it was only a one night stay. I like having visitors, but it's annoying to have to adjust my routine when others are around.
1) My wife and I have painted several rooms - we rent, but we wanted to make it home.
2) My favorite room is the lounge - all swanky and stuff!
3) I am my employer, and yes, I took it. In my shorts right now.
4) We have people five or six times per year, from a weekend to over a week. Last time was in the Spring. In-laws for a weekend. We love to entertain, so I'd say we get out of the visit what we put into it.
1- They started bland, and since I'm renting, they've stayed bland.
2- I like the living room... the computers are set up so that I can 'work' on things while either watching TV or looking out the window.
3- I would love to work from home.
4- My sister in law stayed overnight this past Wed-Thurs. I generally like having guests if they stay 3 nights or less, more than that and I start to feel like its not 'my' space any more.
Have a great weekend! Here are my answers:

1. We have painted our master bedroom as well as our living, dinning, and kitchen.
2. Ummm. I would have to say it depends on the time of year. In the summer it is the family room with the Big Screen. During the winter, it is my bedroom where is is warm.
3. I would take the employment opportunity from home. In fact I would make y wife start having kids so I could be a working stay at home daddy :)
4.the last overnight visitor was my brother in law who house sat for us. I dont know if I really would or would not like hosting a over bight guest. I dont think it would bother me one bit.
1- Nope, the same (white) color since the day I moved in.
2- My bedroom. I live with 2 roommates in a small apartment and my room is the only thing I have full reign over. I am never really home a lot anyways, so it is the room I spend most of my time in.
3- I would love to work from home!
4- Well,...I have my daughter spend the night with me on Wednesday nights, and every other weekend. But, not quite sure if she counts as a house guest since she has her own bed and clothes and junk at my place. So technically she is another roommate. (Kwynn, rent is due on the first!) My roomate's cousin stayed over for a week about 2 weeks ago. I don't mind of people stay over, but like to keep it around the 3 day/night range.
Q1 - Paint: We painted. The former inhabitants thought they were being all artsy and stuff, but all they really did was make the walls mucho feo.
Q2 - Room: Living room. It's where I go to relax and watch porn... er, I mean, science documentaries!
Q3 - Work: I would take the option to work at home, but probably end up in the office at least half the time because I'm pretty sure I'd be less productive at home (I never quite got the hang of my former boss' workaholic tendencies ;) I end up doing a bit of work from home anyway as it is, just not while "on the clock."
Q4 - Houseguests: This was perhaps a month ago? We typically have my in-laws over (parents and siblings) pretty regular. We've had friends over a few times, but that is quite rare. I generally enjoy having visitors, but it all depends on whether they bring their kids and how well they behave.
1 - not yet, but we will be painting our butts off when we move in. Fun fun fun.
2 - basement
3 - yes, most definitely
4 - Had my girlfriend's brothers stay with us. It was ok. We played some xbox and I was up for work every morning while they slept in. I don't mind it, as long as it's not for like, a month.
1. I thought about it, but it wasn't really worth it.
2. The living room. Because it's comfortable
3. Hell yeah!
4. About a year ago. I love hosting guests so long as they don't expect service worthy of the George V
Q1: We tend to avoid painting until we place the home on the market to sell it. If we were to paint the walls, however, we'd probably go with orange or red or something like the color/texture they use at Olive Garden.
Q2: Bedroom. Why? Can't say. These questions seem to be rated G.
Q3: I do work from home. While I think the benefits of working from home are highly overrated, I can't see myself driving into work every morning. Ideally, I'd like to live within walking distance of work, but have a separate office complete with witty colleagues.
Q4: We host overnight guests regularly and enjoy it quite a bit. However, I think 1-2 nights is best. Any more than that, and it gets to be quite an energy drain. (I think Mikal's trying to scope out places for potential overnight stays.)
1. I painted my bedroom walls many years ago a nice "Polar White". But any of the other paint colors have not been chosen by me.
2. My bedroom because it is comfy and has most of what I use every day.
3. YES! I would love a job where I could work from home. No commuting. No worrying about gas prices (as much). No damn office politics.
4. Last time I hosted overnight guests was several years ago. I don't mind, as long as they are people I know and like, and have enough room for them. I like my privacy too much to have a lot of guests. But I think if my living situation was different, I'd have more overnight guests.
1.I painted the walls. they are a lovely yellow (very light)and the ceiling in the living room is a very light pink. Girly, huh?
2. Well, I like my living room, windows/french doors on 2 wall to 2 seperate yard. I never go in there but it is open to the family room and kitche so I get to look at it. Probably my bedroom, I can lock my door and sleep in.
3. I do work from home. It's not easy with kids home for the summer, they think I should just be a party. And when they are in school, my work day ends around 2:30 to start picking up. I do prefer this, I used to work in an office outside the home and I was gone 10 hours a day and paid people to be "mom".
4. I am the queen of house guests. I have the CSUN girls swim coach living in my guest unit-that's different, she pays me. In June I had my Nanny's (one of the people I used to pay from #3) daughter staying here from Amherst, she was here 2 weeks, crossing over that same time I had a friend from Laguna Beach here for 2-3 weeks, and in August I will have my friend here and her 4 (yes four) daughters here for 10 gays. Her husband was transferred to NBC in New Yor, their house in NY has not closed escrow and their house here is sold. What are you going to do? I have great friends and they would do the same for me. Funny, it's always girls. hmmm, convent or chicken ranch?
Q1 - Paint: Did you paint the walls in your home or were they painted to your liking before you moved in? My husband panted all of them, and I must say they are all different colors that represent the beach/ocean. (I LOVE IT, and him for putting up with my color choices).
Q2 - Room: What's your favorite room in your house and why? Bedroom, because it's so peacful.
Q3 - Work: If your employer offered you the opportunity to work from home, would you take it? I have been working out of my home for 16 years, and hope that I never have to go back to an office.
Q4 - Houseguests: When was the last time you hosted overnight visitors in your home, and how long did they stay? Option follow-up question: Do you enjoy entertaining/hosting overnight visitors? Friday night, one night. Great fun had by all.
1. no, nothing. been nearly the same since we moved in, nails sticking out and everything - renter.
2. bedroom, cause that's where the love making occurs.
3. definitely, I would move back to the farm (montana) and do tech work from the comp. have cake and eat it too and all of that.
4. Month ago, parents visited for about 4 days to hang out. I like having peeps over, 'cept my step dad loves talking about the upcoming armageddon that's been beamed to his mind through God -- yeah it gets weird at times.
