Thanks to Christina Rhode, I've just learned about a website that could serve as a valuable resource in articulating my case against recreational catch and release fishing. FishingHurts.com appears to be worth a visit.

Fishing is revered by Christ as he recruited Fishermen to be his apostles. Beyond that is the plain and simple fact that fish do not have nerve receptors that would transmit pain to their brains. They do have normal fear receptors.
Tell me though.. How does any fish die?
Any death of an animal and even of man is not painless or terror free. Man is not doing anything to these animals that they will not eventually feel at their death.
They are NOT HUMAN they do not have RIGHTS... get over it.
