Chances that farmed salmon contains PCB levels that are 4 times higher than those found in beef.

But what does that tell us? Are those levels acceptable? Very high? In the middle? How can they be reduced? Why aren't they lower? How does that compare to free-range (?) salmon? This area is not my forte!

"Free range" is an unregulated term applied to animals raised in supposedly humane conditions before slaughter. Since it's unregulated it basically means nothing. I don't think it applies to fish.

"Organc" meats are supposedly free of chemicals/drugs, but god only knows. I recommend watching the movie at: http://www.meetyourmeat.com/ for information about the quality of the mass produced meat you get at the local grocery. (graphic)
