And they'll have a fine retirement indeed. Oddly enough, my postman is past retirement age, and I wish he'd retire. He's so obese that he won't leave the truck to deliver packages or collect outgoing mail from the mailbox (needless to say our postal service in this town has been federally investigated). He has a great retirement package waiting for him, and I'm tired of him refusing to do his job. For some reason he refuses to retire. Time for him to cash out and, if his weight is such a problem, get to work on that.

retirement money is no good if you aren't around to use it. his belly might tell his heart it's time to retire before he can spend it. maybe you can tell him subtly that his job is a great excuse to exercise and to not die..and stuff : )
